Vademecum Newsletter & Book Club

All the recommendations in the Vademecum cultural newsletter aim to provide a culturally valuable and deep, and in the same time entertaining experience to its readers. If you embark on it tired, you’ll finish happy and energized. To cut it short: Vademecum offers middlebrow entertainment — a kind of beginning-middle-end art.

A new issue is sent to readers on every Tuesday, since November 2004. The topics are: Something New; Still Current (still on in theatres or cinemas, the exhibition is still open…); A Great Debt (I should have read it 30 years ago, Missed the movie in cinemas, but the dvd is just out…); If I Tell This in the Club… (Astounding stories from the backstage, gossip from the legendary Budapest baths…); Miscellanea (Thigs we cannot categorise - internet, design, Budapest, history…)

Vademecum Book Club

Members receive a special book each month (besides the weekly newsletter), meticulously selected by András Török. The Club (120 members currently) will organize regular author-reader meetings and other cultural events from the autumn of 2017.
