Budapest Monthly

Budapest was first launched on 15 October 1945, and then discontinued in 1947. It was re-launched in 1966, as the publication of Municipality of Budapest, and was published every month until 1988. In 2003, a then one-year old informal club, called The Budapest Grand Table (a sort of loose circle of Budapest experts, authors, journalist and their friends) decided to re-launch it and they did it. The test issue was published in January 2003, and Issue 1 of Volume 1 left the press in March 2003. It is edited by Péter Buza, an author of about 20 books in local history, a retired editor of the daily of the largest circulation. Budapest has been published by Summa Artium since December 2015.
